What really happened behind the closed doors of ordinary family homes on D-Day? The D-Day Story hosts Red Sauce Theatre Company in collaboration with the New Theatre Royal’s inclusive theatre company Extras in an emotional performance told through drama, music, art and video installation. Funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund

Red Sauce Theatre Company are a theatre company that work with a diverse range of people with various needs within Portsmouth, we are affiliated with The New Theatre Royal and hold our rehearsals at the Minghella Studio, we operate an open-door policy, our members have a range of learning issues including dyslexia, brain injury and hard of hearing, we will be collaborating this year with The New Theatre Royal’s “Extras” they are a performing arts group who mild to moderate learning difficulties. We will become one inclusive theatre company.
