Submerged

Time: 10.00 AM to 5.30 PM Location: Mary Rose Museum

Submerged is a multimedia exhibition marking the 475th anniversary of the sinking of the iconic English Tudor warship, The Mary Rose. Produced by Portsmouth Young Carers, in association with artists Linda Mason and Ricky Tart, the exhibition offers an original interpretation of the famous ship’s tragic fate.

This exciting new festival project has given Young Carers fun and creative opportunities to with a key period in Portsmouth’s history. The project has provided a voice for young people in our local community who often feel isolated, and it has also enabled them to learn new skills and improve their creative media knowledge.

The exhibition will be docked in the Mary Rose Museum for the duration of this year’s Festivities, and will inspire people of all ages to explore Portsmouth’s rich and colourful past.
